Works are continuing across Stage 1 North and Stage 1 Central, with several key activities planned along the corridor.

Stage 1 North – Planned works

• Final asphalting and line marking at Helensvale Road, Monterey Keys Drive and McPhail Road

• Ongoing project works south of Helensvale Road

• Continued roadworks at the Shipper Drive service road

Traffic impacts to expect

Temporary traffic changes may include lane closures, lane reconfigurations and some night works on:

• Helensvale Road

• Monterey Keys Drive

• Hope Island Road

• McPhail Road

• Foxwell Road

• Finnegan Way

• Shipper Drive

Between Helensvale Road and the Gold Coast Highway

Planned works for January include:

• Continued bridge construction at Careel Reserve (North) and along the Gold Coast Highway (bridge widening and works north of the highway)

• Ongoing earthworks

• Investigation and relocation of service facilities within Rosedale Place Reserve and around Ridgevale Drive

• Continued works along Gold Coast Highway westbound, between Buckler Drive and Discovery Drive, including asphalting and service relocations

Traffic impacts to expect

Temporary traffic changes may include lane or shoulder closures, stop/slow conditions and reduced speed limits on:

• Ridgevale Drive (between Mildura Drive and Cootharaba Drive)

• Mildura Drive (between Ridgevale Drive and Rosedale Place)

• Gold Coast Highway (between Buckler Drive and Discovery Drive)

• Gold Coast Highway (between Discovery Drive and Binstead Way)
